The new Auron is designed with a clear goal: to deliver a console that combines exceptional sound quality with the flexibility of a software-controlled mixer.

By blending analog and digital technologies, we’ve achieved high-resolution audio, with a signal path bandwidth exceeding 100 kHz.
 
The Auron console builds on D&R’s familiar features while introducing exciting new capabilities.
It includes a 10-channel fader unit and a separate master unit, which can be expanded with another fader unit, similar to our ‘Airence’ configuration.

The fader unit features two expansion card slots, currently supporting:
 
Dante Card (multichannel audio over IP)
2-channel BT device connection card for GSM phone communication and stereo playback
2-channel POTS Telephone hybrid card
Soon a 2x Stereo digital in audio card (AES3 or S/Pdif, Toslink)
Soon a 2x Stereo phono preamp input card
 
The Auron hybrid console offers exceptional versatility through its channel PCB card options.
Currently, two channel PCB cards are available:
 
MIC/Line PCB Card: Provides direct connections for microphones, stereo line inputs, and studio remotes. It also includes access to both internal expansion slots, configurable menu options, a 4-step software-programmable gain, low-noise optimization, software  switchable phantom power and insert jack for external sound processing.
 
USB/VoIP/Line PCB Card: Offers USB and line connections with VoIP functionality over USB, providing a clean feed to callers. This card is compatible with any expansion module channel and includes balanced in and clean feed out connections for external telecommunications devices, such as our digital and analog telephone hybrid modules.
 
All channel cards feature GPO jacks with software-programmable functions.
The console's smooth K-Alps faders, or optional motorized faders ensure precise audio level adjustments. Direct Talk enables easy communication with callers, while fader start capabilities simplify music playback control.
 
Master Section Built for Radio
The Auron’s master section is equipped with Monitor and Headphone levels for both CRM and STUDIO area plus dedicated switches for triggering jingles and managing input sources.
A 7” color touchscreen provides a clear visual interface for monitoring master levels and controlling  onboard processing. Encoders allow for precise adjustments and easy access to presets, ensuring an efficient workflow.
 
Its modular design includes 10 fader segments and a master section, all connected via a special cable, offering scalability and flexibility for different configurations.
Each fader segment has its own power supply, ensuring consistent performance and reliability.
